Prof. Bhagwan Deen is Horticulture Professor and Head Department of Post Harvest Technology at A.N.D. University of Agriculture and Technology, India.
He has 25 years’ experience in research,
extension, development and teaching of Horticulture and allied subjects to Under
Graduate, Master and PhD students. Prof.
Deen is lucky enough to get the opportunity
to work with Indian Council of Agricultural Research as ARS Scientist Horticulture.
He was Principal, Government Food Science Training Centre under Horticulture and Food Processing Department of the Government and Expert in a World Bank Project on Diversification of Agriculture. As Programme Coordinator Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Associate Professor Horticulture, he provided his
services to agriculture extension, research and horticulture education,
respectively. He has been General Secretary of the Alumni Association and Administrative Officer of the A.N.D.
University of Agriculture and Technology, India. Prof. Deen was a member of Joint Inspection Team constituted by
Government of India to inspect the National Horticulture Mission programmes for three years in
